November 2018
Having had 4 Annual Rally’s and Country Show’s in the beautiful Cotswold Town of Lechlade, at Rough Grounds Farm.
We were looking to find another field for 2020, our 6th rally.
Two events at Lechlade made us make the decision to move to Langley Lane Field, Clanfield OX18 2RZ for 2019
The field was filling up as quickly as we could make space. The lane to Rough Grounds Farm was becoming difficult for the Lechlade Lions to keep control of the movement of vehicles and the Police and local Council were concerned about the grid lock on the A361 roundabout.
So we look to 2019 season, our 5th Annual Vintage Rally & Country Show is now at Patrick Edwards auction fields in Langley Lane Clanfield OX18 2RZ.
This site is next to the main road so no problem with entry and exit. The Rally field is the long one from the auction field (tractor in the corner) adjoining the main A4095 road. its 12 acres, (4 hectares) in size. The field next to the Rally field will be the parking and camping field. Yes this year we are taking general public that would like to come along and camp for the weekend, camping fee will cover Free entry to the rally.
Yes this will be a big move to this new ground. The rally will now be over 3 days, 25-26-and Bank Holiday Monday 27 may 2019, with Friday being the usual set up day. This date is now one week forward so it does not clash with the Trout`s week end, at the Trout pub in Lechlade.
We can have a mini ring for Dog Show, Britannia Majorettes and Morris Dancers each day and a main ring for the mobile exhibits to parade with a commentator. It’s been a long time coming; we now have the space to include a marquee in the middle of the field, shade and cover and for the Great Western band. and a central point for the evening social gathering were we are planning a Bar and a Band on Saturday evening.
Exhibitor on the mailing list, Entry Forms will be posted first week of January, as will be Forms for the Traders, Stalls, Craft .& Public Camping. If you have not received a Form by 20 Jan 2019, please contact us.

One final note; I have made a decision on the Rally name, It is to remain; Lechlade Rally. (At Clanfield if you so wish). As we are Lechlade Collectors Club and Lechlade is known more than Clanfield.
